SUNBAKING ON DEPOT BEACH

Scroll

A return to one of my favourite camping locations on the South Coast of New South Wales prompted me to record this scene. The tranquillity and unspoilt nature of this area impresses both family and visitors from overseas. This copse of trees is on the edge of the sandy beach and close to cabins and campsite. I particularly liked the direction and movement created by the native Spotted Gum trees. I have once again tried to convey this in the brush strokes and impressionist techniques in this painting.
