This is another of my observations of the effects of the worldwide pandemic on the local coastline. It is a familiar view as it is traversed by the Wollongong Walking and Cycling path which I use weekly, with a walking group. Social distancing and isolation have resulted in fewer walkers, cyclists, dog walkers’ picnickers and people enjoying the beaches. Only a few footprints in the sand are evidence of recent activity.
