This is the second painting of the Beach Side series. This painting was also based on an observation made of our local, family friendly beach as I lay sunbaking. Again, the meaning conveyed is altered by the image being turned on its vertical axis. The baby appears to be climbing up the canvas as well as crawling in the sand.
