We visited this lovely vineyard, set on a hilltop south of Pokolbin in November. It is surrounded by the picturesque rolling hills of the Hunter Valley. It has uninterrupted views of Mount Sugarloaf and the Watagan Mountains. The Cellar Door at Mount View, has been the headquarters for Petersons Family Wines for over 45 years. I have recorded the earthy colours of the vineyard using an Impressionistic style. It reminded me of many of the vineyards I had seen travelling through France in the past.
